Your information
What information does Omxus collect?
Only what signing in needs: your email address or mobile number, your usernames, a scrambled form of your password, the public part of your passkeys, your sessions and your security events. Omxus doesn't ask for your name or date of birth, and doesn't see what you do on the sites you sign in to.
Does Omxus sell my information or show me ads?
No. We don't show ads, we don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell personal information. Read our approach to privacy.
What does a site get when I sign in with Omxus?
A private ID made only for that site, plus the details the site asks for and is set up to receive, like your email address or username. Sites never get your password. Learn more.
Can two sites work out that I'm the same person?
Not by the ID Omxus gives them. Sites that use the Omxus sign-in page each get an unrelated ID for you. Sites can still match people in other ways, like an email address you give both of them. Learn how private IDs work.
Who helps Omxus handle my information?
A few service providers, like our hosting provider and the services that deliver emails and texts, under our instructions. The Privacy Policy names them. Read Sharing your information.
Your controls
How do I get a copy of my information?
Send a privacy request with the email address or mobile number on your account. We confirm it's you, then send a file you can keep. Learn more.
How do I delete my account?
Open your account settings on a site that uses Omxus and choose to delete your account. Deleting is immediate: we remove your details, passkeys, sessions and security events, and every device signs out. Learn more.
How do I see where I'm signed in?
Your account settings list every session, with the site, how you signed in and when. You can end any of them. Learn more.
How do I make a privacy complaint?
Use the privacy request form first. We'll acknowledge it and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Read Your privacy rights.

Does Omxus use cookies?

What is a passkey, and does Omxus see my fingerprint?
A passkey is a pair of keys your device makes for one website. Your fingerprint, face or PIN only unlocks the private key on your device. Omxus never sees your fingerprint, your face or the private key. Read about passkeys.
What happens if I forget my secret words?
The account made with your name, date of birth and secret words can't be recovered. We never receive them, so nobody can reset them, including Omxus. Write them down and keep them somewhere safe and private. Learn more.
Does the Help assistant read my account?
No. Ask Omxus Help answers only from Help articles. It can't see or change your account, and Help doesn't store your questions. Read about the assistant.
Terms and your account
Who provides Omxus?
Omxus is provided by {{LEGAL_ENTITY}}. Read Service provider.
How old do I need to be?
At least {{MINIMUM_AGE}} years old, or older where local law sets a higher age to agree to online services. Sites can set their own, higher age. Learn more.
Why was my account turned off?
We turn off an account when it seriously breaks the Terms, when the law requires it, or to protect you from someone who has taken it over. If you think it's a mistake, send us a message and we'll review it. Learn more.
Is Omxus responsible for the sites I sign in to?
No. Each site is run by someone else, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do there. Deleting your Omxus account doesn't delete your account on a site. Read Sites and apps that use Omxus.
How do I report a security problem?
Use the security report form before telling anyone else. Don't access or change other people's information, and give us reasonable time to fix it.
